Publications

The series of Annals (AIAL) counts more than 130 volumes, published on a regular basis since 1847, except between 1915 and 1918 (volumes 69 to 72), which corresponds to the crisis of the First World War. From volume 101 (1970) on, they are published in the form of double volumes, covering two reference years.

The Bulletin trimestriel (BIAL or BTrim), created in January 1925 in the move, mostly European, to study folklore, local customs and traditions, counts some 200 papers published in the last 80 years. Since 1963, because of the continuous rise in postage rates, the quarterly magazine has been published only every six months.
